NVISION SOLUTIONS – FROM NASA INCUBATOR TO GOVERNOR’S AWARD OF EXCELLENCE IN EXPORTING

January 7, 2016

NVision Solutions was founded in 2002 as a start up at NASA’s incubator in Stennis Space Center, Hancock County, MS.  Since then, the company founded by Socorro and Craig Harvey has grown to annual revenues of between $5 and $7 million.  Today, they are expecting to expand from 72 to 100 employees with the award of their latest contract.  From its early days this geospatial company worked directly with the NASA SSC Technology Transfer office to capitalize on existing technology.  Their strategy was to remain agile to take advantage of every opportunity that presented itself.  That strategy and persistence paid off, and on December 4, 2015 Socorro and Craig received from Governor Bryant the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Exporting in the service sector.
