Hancock County Port and Harbor Commission Marks Major Milestone with Sale of Point Eight Power Facility

BAY ST LOUIS, MISS: Hancock County Port and Harbor Commission (HCPHC) recently announced the successful sale of the 72,000 square-foot Point Eight Power facility located within Port Bienville Industrial Park. The property was acquired by Adler Industrial, the preferred development partner for Point Eight Power, marking a significant step for Port Bienville and its long-term tenants.Â
As part of the sale, Adler Industrial, Point Eight Power, and HCPHC have formalized an agreement that will see Adler Industrial invest an additional $2 million in facility improvements and necessary upgrades to the property.Â
This significant capital improvement is specifically designed to support the long-term needs of Point Eight Power and its customers, ensuring the facility remains a cutting-edge operation for years to come.Â
Blaine LaFontaine, Executive Director of Hancock County Port and Harbor Commission, expressed his strong support for the partnership:Â
