REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENGINEERING AND/OR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES FOR VERTICAL AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS FOR THE STENNIS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Invitation: The Hancock County Port and Harbor Commission (HCPHC) is soliciting statements of qualifications from qualified firms interested in providing professional engineering and/or architectural support services for Vertical Airport Development Projects for the Stennis International Airport. Firms with relevant experience and qualifications are encouraged to submit.

Submission Requirements: All persons intending to submit shall notify Mrs. Maureen Anderson, Project Manager, 14054 Fred & al Key Road, Kiln, MS 39556, in writing before 5:00 PM CST, May 31, 2024 for any further information or questions. This notification shall include a primary contact person and preferred method of correspondence; mail, fax, or email. Subsequently, all questions shall be directed to: Maureen Anderson, Project Manager, 14054 Fred & Al Key Road, Kiln, MS 39556. Statement of Qualifications will be accepted until June 4, 2024 at 5:00 PM CST.

FRED HAISE ROAD EXTENSION

Electronic or sealed Bids for construction of Fred Haise Road Extension – Project No. AP2407 will be received by the Hancock County Port & Harbor Commission, located at 14054 Fred & Al Key Road, Kiln, Mississippi 39556, until 9:30 A.M. Local Time, June 4, 2024, then bids will be publicly opened and read. Any bids received after the time and date specified will not be considered and will be returned.

The project generally consists of the extension of Fred Haise Road approximately 2,000 feet north to Texas Flat Road, which includes asphalt milling, drainage improvements, lime-treated subgrade, asphalt paving, pavement markings, signage, and other miscellaneous work.

A pre-bid meeting for this project will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 3:00 P.M., Local Time at the Hancock County Port & Harbor Commission Administrative Building, located at 14054 Fred & Al Key Road, Kiln, MS 39556. All perspective Bidders are invited to attend.

AIRCRAFT PACKAGING HANGAR REHABILITATION

Electronic or sealed Bids for construction of AIRCRAFT PACKAGING HANGAR REHABILITATION – Project No. AP2208 will be received by the Hancock County Port & Harbor Commission, located at 14054 Fred & Al Key Road, Kiln, Mississippi 39556, until 10:00 A.M. Local Time, May 17, 2024, then bids will be publicly opened and read. Any bids received after the time and date specified will not be considered and will be returned.

The project generally consists of the rehabilitation of an existing approximately 12,500 SF aircraft packaging hangar and associated site improvements on an approximate 1.9-acre project area. Items include the construction of a concrete apron along the western side of the hangar, the rehabilitation/construction of an asphalt-paved access road along the southern side of the hangar, the construction of an asphalt-paved parking lot along the northern side of the hangar, the rehabilitation/construction of an access drive along the eastern side of the hangar, the construction of a concrete sidewalk, and miscellaneous site grading and drainage.

A pre-bid meeting for this project will be held on Tuesday, May 7^th, 2024, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time at the Hancock County Port & Harbor Commission, located at 14054 Fred & Al Key Road, Kiln, Mississippi 39556. All perspective Bidders are invited to attend.

WASHDOWN RACK AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS

Electronic or sealed Bids for construction of Washdown Rack and Drainage Improvements will be received by the Hancock County Port & Harbor Commission, located at 14054 Fred & Al Key Road, Kiln, Mississippi 39556, until 10:00 A.M. Local Time, May 3^rd, 2024, then bids will be publicly opened and read. Any bids received after the time and date specified will not be considered and will be returned.

The project generally consists of Installation of new waterline at Stennis International Airport to serve existing washdown rack adjacent to Taxilane Sierra and installation of drainage improvements along Fred & Al Key Road near Tyonek.

A pre-bid meeting for this project will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time at the Hancock County Port & Harbor Commission Administrative Building, located at 14054 Fred & Al Key Road, Kiln, MS 39556. All perspective Bidders are invited to attend.
